Farewell to Chris .....
Our multi-instrumentalist and lead singer Chris is leaving us with his last gig at Oakridge in Basingstoke this Saturday 25th. He is one of the original members of Kaboodle and has been with the band for nearly 7 years.
It may surprise you to learn that Chris actually lives in Basingstoke with the rest of the band living in the Bournemouth/Poole area. He has therefore travelled up and down the M3/M27 many, many times over the years - and on occasions 3 times in a week! This has shown a huge personal commitment to the band which along with his contributions as both musician and sound engineer we are extremely grateful for.
We wish Chris the very best in his continuing musical journey.
A huge Thankyou to Eric
After 4 years Eric, our Manager, has decided to retire at the end of the year. Having seen us at our first gigs back in 2018 - he must have seen something he liked - as he came up and offered to find us gigs and generally promote the band.
He has done a fantastic job and spent countless hours behind the scenes contacting and travelling to venues beforehand; providing posters; making arrangements and giving us all the information we need to help us make our performances a success. In addition Eric has also attended many of the gigs to take videos for our Facebook page, website and YouTube channel.
Kaboodle are extremely grateful to Eric and wish him a very happy and relaxing retirement

Introducing our new Band Member ...
We are really pleased to welcome Cecilia who will be sharing lead vocals with Chris and assisting with backing vocals, acoustic guitar and keys. She adds:-
“I have a lifelong passion for music and performing - Music creates such a powerful energy field and I love to be right in the middle of it!
My main influences are: Freddie Mercury, Janis Joplin, Etta James, Al Jarreau and Otis Redding.
I am very excited about joining and can't wait to perform with Kaboodle as Rock, Blues and Soul are definitely my comfort zone.“

Meet our new Lead Guitarist ...
Vic Seager, the band's Lead Guitarist and founding member (seen in the Battle of The Bands item below), has moved from the area and unfortunately had to leave the band. Kaboodle thanks Vic for the major part he has played and we all wish him well with his move and his future musical career.
So now we welcome Pete Jones who is stepping into Vic's shoes to continue our mission to play Blues and Rock Classics at pubs, clubs, festivals and functions. Pete has already been working very hard on our set list and his first gig is the Bluebird Social Club in Ferndown on the 31st of this month. Be great to see you!
